Three Reasons

FRIDAYS aren't so bad.  Normally Fridays rock, but sometimes they go south real fast.  Still, simple things can make all the difference.  I mean, who can be sad if you have something like... say, toast cut in triangles instead of rectangles?  Isn't that awesome?  Here are three more Little Things that make the Big Things a little Smaller ::

Reason Number One ::

H:O:T Irish Breakfast tea (not for breakfast and I don't care so there) with a trace of milk and honey.  AND a mysterious but very tea-ish biscuit made by la abuelita and I have NO idea what was in it, but it was gooooooood!  :)  Unofficial Reason :: Notice all the nice white light pouring in over everything.  So refreshing, even more than yellowy sunlight.

Reason Number Two ::

The final letter of my crochet Alphabet in progress, lying on the floor where I dropped it earlier this morning.  The Dread Letter S.  *hides under bed and peers out at scary letter*  I will conquer it.  When I get a few minutes.  Or hours.  :)  Patterns will quickly follow!

Reason Number Three ::

A light, charming rain shower.  A Good Reason, if for nothing else, because it means Spring is here, and things will Green Up quickly.  And it's just nice to have a bit of rain.  And so photogenic, wouldn't you agree? Like raindrop-supermodels.  *rolls eyes*  I think I'm too tired and a bit loopy today....

Last picture.  Love those defined droplets in the very center.  This camera makes me look like I know what I'm doing!  :)  I'm waiting on my own, my precious, camera that is, to arrive mail order.  Till then, I'll keep pirating the family snapper.

Ahhhhhhhh.  Much better.  Now, duty calls.  Enjoy your Friday, no matter what!

  1. Hi! I did not realise there was already a movement involving blankets for hospices. The crafting group I am involved with has many different outlets for our work
    Please let me know your address if you would like one of ours for the hospice you are personally involved with
    Kindest Regards Linda

  2. Hi
    I'm blocking up your comment form now !!! I am so sorry I missed the fact that you are based in the U.S.A. I, and my charity group are based in the U.k and postage costs are so prohibitive. I will however look into the idea of donating one of our Lapacuddlyghans to a local hospice. There is a wonderful one in Torquay in Devon which would mean that the finances are used in the best possible way but the love would be spread around
    Kindest Regards Linda
