Hey y'all!
In the absence of Real Live Flowers, I have been crocheting bunches and bunches of little Crochetery ones. I used them first on some of my Alphabet Letters, but fiddling around with them was so enjoyable, I had to keep going. So this morning I made one for using to tie up a tissue paper package, and stringing the flower on a bit of yarn gave me the idea to make a bunch and make a garland!
...SO about 2.5 hours later... *grin*
ALL the flowers were fun to make, but I really liked making the three larger ones, pictured below ::
The patterns for these and the other flowers, and the leaves, will be up under a "Flowers!" page over there in the sidebar -----> that General Direction. :)
I don't think a morning can be spent in a more enjoyable way than this... Fiddling around with scrappy bits of color on the floor, listening to the soundtrack of a rousing Monopoly game down the hall (cheers, tears, with the occasional LOUD auction), doing some quiet thinking with Me, Myself, and I. Quiet nice. Now all I need is a cup of tea...which I will go and make right...now.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhh.
The Corners Theme will be Resumed most likely on Thursday, post-St-Patrick's-Day.
